IPTV in Waco, Killeen and Bryan: Local Channels, Sports and What It Costs
IPTV in Waco means watching CBS 10 KWTX, NBC 6 KCEN, ABC 25 KXXV and FOX 44 KWKT over the internet. No antenna or cable box is involved. IPTVZ also carries the Bryan stations, KBTX, KAGS, KRHD and KYLE, plus SEC Network, ESPN and Magnolia Network. A year on one device costs $74.99, and the trial is free for 24 hours.
Central Texas is a good fit for IPTV for reasons that are particular to the place. NBC 6 and CBS 10 broadcast on VHF, which trips up many indoor antennas. Killeen has to aim two ways, and the low-power Bryan stations fade fast outside town. Then there's college football split between Baylor and the Aggies. Here's what IPTV fixes, what it doesn't, and what a year costs compared with cable.

Four Central Texas TV problems IPTV solves
IPTV doesn't care where the towers are, and in this market that matters. IPTV is live TV delivered as a stream over your home internet, the way Netflix arrives, but with a channel guide. Our explainer on how IPTV works covers the technology.
- The VHF problem. NBC 6 transmits on VHF 9 and CBS 10 on VHF 10. Many flat antennas miss both, so "I get everything but NBC and CBS" is a common Waco complaint.
- Killeen's split aim. The network towers stand east-northeast of Killeen, and Univision 62's stands south-southwest. One antenna rarely gets both well.
- The Brazos Valley fade. NBC 23 and ABC 40.1 in Bryan are low-power stations. About 16 to 20 miles out, in Hearne or Caldwell, they can come and go.
- The far-from-home viewer. Fort Hood families and Baylor and A&M students often want the stations from where they grew up. An antenna can't do that.
It also closes Waco's PBS gap. The city has had no PBS station of its own since 2018. IPTVZ carries Texas A&M's PBS 12 KAMU, along with CW 46 KNCT. Our Waco TV stations guide explains how the gap came about.
Waco and Bryan news in one guide
The Waco-Temple-Bryan market runs twin stations, and IPTVZ carries all four pairs. The RabbitEars Waco-Temple-Bryan market list shows how each pair is licensed.
| Network | Waco side, on IPTVZ | Brazos Valley side, on IPTVZ |
|---|---|---|
| CBS | CBS 10 Waco (KWTX) | CBS 3 Bryan (KBTX) |
| NBC | NBC 6 Temple (KCEN) | NBC 23 Bryan (KAGS) |
| ABC | ABC 25 Waco (KXXV) | ABC 40.1 Bryan (KRHD) |
| FOX | FOX 44 Waco (KWKT) | FOX 28.2 Bryan (KYLE) |
The CBS and NBC names come from our panel catalogue of October 16, 2026. KRHD and KYLE are on the panel too. A Temple family with a student at A&M can flip between KCEN and KAGS to compare the weather. A Bryan home can follow a story that started on KWTX. For the eastern half's antenna situation, see our Bryan-College Station TV guide.
Baylor, the Aggies and Sunday football
The panel's sports section covers both of the area's big programs. Texas A&M plays in the SEC, so SEC Network and ESPN matter in College Station, and both are in the catalogue. Baylor's Big 12 games spread across ESPN, FOX's networks and ESPN+. The catalogue of October 16, 2026 showed TCU vs. Baylor that night on one of its ESPN+ event channels.
Smaller schools turn up too. That weekend, the Flo Network event channels listed University of Mary Hardin-Baylor games from Belton. For Sundays, there's CBS 10 and FOX 44 for the Cowboys and Texans, plus NFL RedZone and NFL Sunday Ticket channels. Our guide to the cheapest way to watch the NFL compares the official routes.
Magnolia Network and the other channels
Waco has a TV network of its own in spirit: Magnolia Network, the channel built around Chip and Joanna Gaines and their Waco company. It's in the IPTVZ lineup, with a day of catch-up.
Past that, a Central Texas home gets the usual cable channels: HGTV, ESPN, Fox News, CNN, Bravo and the rest. Spanish-language viewers have Telemundo and Univision Austin, the KAKW feed that Killeen antennas struggle with. Catch-up covers 1 to 3 days on 485 US channels, handy for a newscast you missed.
Internet in Waco, Killeen and Bryan
IPTV is only as steady as the connection under it. Spectrum is the cable company across most of Waco, Killeen and Temple. In Bryan-College Station, the cable incumbent is Suddenlink, now sold under the Optimum name. Fiber and 5G home internet reach parts of each city, and the FCC National Broadband Map lists who serves your exact address.
For speed, budget about 15 Mbps per HD stream and 25 for 4K. A 100 Mbps plan handles two or three TVs comfortably. A wired Ethernet cable to the main TV often helps more than a faster plan.
IPTV prices against cable and streaming
A year of IPTVZ on one device costs $74.99, about what YouTube TV charges for a single month.

| Option | Price | First 12 months |

| YouTube TV | $82.99 a month | $995.88 |

| IPTVZ, 12 months, 2 devices | One payment | $119.99 |
| IPTVZ, 12 months, 1 device | One payment | $74.99 |
Spectrum's first-year price, before boxes and taxes; its surcharge figure is from The Senior List. YouTube TV before tax. IPTVZ also sells 3, 4 and 5-device yearly plans at $149.99, $174.99 and $194.99. Our YouTube TV price guide breaks down its plans.
Setting it up
- Pick the screen. A Fire TV Stick works on any TV with an HDMI port. Most Android TV and Google TV sets need nothing extra.
- Load the player app using our Firestick setup guide.
- Enter the trial login and give the channel guide a minute to load.
- Test it on a busy night. Watch the 10 p.m. news on KWTX while someone streams a game in another room.
Buffering usually points to Wi-Fi, not the service. Our IPTV troubleshooting guide walks through the fixes.
Before you pay
Treat an IPTV service like a used car: drive it before you buy, and read the paperwork.
- Try it free. IPTVZ's trial runs 24 hours, and you don't enter a card.
- Know the refund terms. Ours is 48 hours, in writing.
- Avoid surprise renewals. IPTVZ plans are single payments that don't auto-renew.
- Ask a question first. Live chat and email answer before and after you buy.
We accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, US bank transfer and crypto, including Binance Pay. For the legal side of IPTV in general, read is IPTV legal in the US?
When IPTV isn't the answer
- Homes on slow rural internet. If your ranch or farmhouse still runs on slow DSL or a capped satellite plan, live streams will stutter.
- Season-long recorders. Catch-up lasts days, not months.
- Temple homes with a working antenna. Temple sits 14 to 17 miles from the towers. If your antenna already gets every network, the free signal is hard to beat.
