LAUNCHING MyTVONLINE:

Option A - Xtream Codes API (Highly Recommended)

This is the BEST method for Formuler boxes - fastest loading, full EPG, and includes VOD/Series.

1. 1In MyTVOnline, press the Menu button on your remote — Or look for Settings/Menu icon on screen
2. 2Navigate to 'Content Sources' or 'Connections' — Different MyTVOnline versions may use different names — Look for section about adding content
3. 3Click '+Add' or 'Add New' or 'Add Content Source'
4. 4Select 'Xtream Codes API' from the list — This is the recommended option — Don't select M3U unless that's all you have
5. 5Carefully enter your credentials using the remote:

• Your choice - name it anything
• Example: "My TV" or "Live TV"
• This is just for your reference

📍 SERVER URL (or Host/Server):

• From your welcome email
• MUST start with http:// or https://

Username

• Case-sensitive (ABC ≠ abc)
• No spaces before or after
• Type carefully using remote

Password

• Also case-sensitive
• Type each character carefully

Option B - M3U Playlist URL (Alternative)

If your provider gave you an M3U playlist link:

1. 1In MyTVOnline, navigate to 'Content Manager' or 'Content Sources'

3. 3Choose 'M3U Playlist' from options

• Xtream Codes = Faster, better EPG, includes VOD/Series
• M3U = Slower, limited/no EPG, usually just live channels
• Always use Xtream Codes if available!

• Take your time - typos cause connection failures
• Use the number pad for numbers (faster)
• Switch between lowercase/uppercase/numbers as needed
• Formuler remote has good keyboard layout

• ✗Forgetting http:// at the start
• ✗Mixing up uppercase and lowercase letters
• ✗Adding spaces before/after credentials
• ✗Closing the app while loading

• 99% of the time it's a typo - recheck everything
• Make sure you're using Xtream Codes (not M3U) if available
• Verify your subscription is active (check email)
• Try entering credentials again slowly
• Contact support if you're absolutely certain everything is correct

What Is EPG?

The EPG shows you:

How to Check & Refresh EPG

1. 1From MyTVOnline main screen, go to 'Live TV'
2. 2Select any channel (preferably a major channel like ESPN or CNN)
3. 3Press the 'Info' or 'Guide' button on your remote — You should see program information pop up — Current show and upcoming shows
4. 4If EPG is showing - GREAT! You're done!
5. 5If EPG is NOT showing, let's refresh it:

Refreshing EPG Manually

1. 1Go to Settings or Menu in MyTVOnline
2. 2Find 'EPG Settings' or 'Electronic Program Guide'
3. 3Check that EPG URL is configured — With Xtream Codes, this should be automatic — You should see an EPG URL already filled in
4. 4Click 'Update EPG' or 'Refresh EPG'
5. 5Wait patiently for 3-5 minutes — First EPG download can take up to 10 minutes — Formuler boxes download detailed EPG data — You'll see a progress indicator — Don't interrupt the process!
6. 6Once complete, test again: — Go to Live TV — Select a channel — Press 'Info' button — EPG should now display!

Good News - Auto-Update

• EPG refreshes automatically every 24 hours
• You only need to do this setup once
• Updates happen in the background

Formuler EPG Optimization Tips

Set Correct Date/Time

• Settings → General → Date & Time
• Set to 'Automatic' or 'Use Network Time'
• Correct timezone is CRUCIAL
• Wrong time = EPG shows wrong schedule times

Use Ethernet Connection

• Connect Formuler box to router with Ethernet cable
• MUCH faster EPG downloads
• More stable 4K streaming
• Settings → Network → Wired Connection
• Highly recommended over Wi-Fi!

📊 EPG DATA COVERAGE:

• Xtream Codes typically provides 3-7 days of EPG
• Major channels (sports, movies, news) have best coverage
• Some smaller channels may not have EPG - this is normal
• You can scroll forward to see upcoming programs

EPG Troubleshooting

⏰ Problem: EPG shows wrong times → Solution: Fix date/time settings → Settings → General → Date & Time → Automatic → Verify timezone matches your location

🔄 Problem: EPG not loading at all → Solution: Make sure you used Xtream Codes (not M3U) → M3U often has limited or no EPG data → Xtream Codes provides full, detailed EPG

⏳ Problem: Taking too long → Solution: Be patient - first load can take 10-15 minutes → Use Ethernet cable for faster download → Don't close app while EPG is downloading

📺 Problem: Some channels have EPG, others don't → Solution: Completely normal! → Not all channels provide program guide data → Major/popular channels almost always have EPG

🔧 EPG CORRUPTED OR WEIRD DATA?

• Settings → Application → MyTVOnline → Clear Cache
• Don't clear Data (you'll lose your settings)
• Restart MyTVOnline
• Refresh EPG again
