IPTV in Amarillo: Panhandle Local Channels, Lubbock Stations and Prices
IPTV in Amarillo streams NBC 4 KAMR, ABC 7 KVII, CBS 10 KFDA and FOX 14 KCIT over your internet connection. There's no antenna or cable box. IPTVZ's catalogue also lists Lubbock's network stations, a PBS feed, Univision and SEC Network. Twelve months on one device cost $74.99, and the trial is free for 24 hours.
Inside Amarillo, an antenna works well, so IPTV here is mostly about two other things. One is distance: Hereford, Pampa, Tulia and Dalhart sit 45 to 59 miles from the towers. The other is what an antenna can't get at all, from cable channels to Univision. This guide covers both, along with Panhandle internet, costs against Optimum and YouTube TV, and who should skip IPTV.

Who gains most from IPTV in the Panhandle
Amarillo's towers are close and all north of town, so the city itself rarely needs IPTV for the locals. IPTV, live TV over your internet, makes the most sense for:
- Homes far from Amarillo. Hereford is 45 miles from the nearest tower, Pampa 50, Tulia 53 and Dalhart 59. Antenna reception gets unreliable out there.
- Anyone who wants cable channels without a cable bill. ESPN, SEC Network, Fox News, HGTV and the rest aren't over the air.
- Spanish-language households. Telemundo broadcasts here on 31 and 10.3, but no Univision station does.
- People who moved to the Panhandle and still want the stations from home, which an antenna can't bring in.

The Amarillo lineup on IPTVZ
All four Amarillo network stations are in the IPTVZ catalogue by name.
| Network | Over the air in Amarillo | In the IPTVZ catalogue |
|---|---|---|
| NBC | KAMR 4.1 | NBC 4 Amarillo (KAMR) |
| ABC | KVII 7.1 | ABC 7 Amarillo (KVII) |
| CBS | KFDA 10.1 | CBS 10 Amarillo (KFDA) |
| FOX | KCIT 14.1 | FOX 14 Amarillo (KCIT) |
| PBS | KACV 2.1 | National PBS HD feed and PBS Kids |
| Spanish | Telemundo 31 and 10.3 | Telemundo, plus Univision city feeds |
From our panel catalogue of October 16, 2026. KACV, Panhandle PBS, isn't part of the IPTVZ lineup, so KACV's own local programs stay on channel 2 over the air. The catalogue also includes an NFL Network feed labeled for Amarillo, along with ESPN, SEC Network and NFL RedZone.
Lubbock stations, too
The catalogue lists Lubbock's NBC 11 KCBD, CBS 13 KLBK, ABC 28 KAMC and FOX 34 KJTV, plus Telemundo from Lubbock. That's useful in a region where many fans follow Texas Tech, about 115 miles south.
Lubbock's newscasts cover the Red Raiders up close. Plainview, between the two cities, sits about 42 miles from Lubbock and 72 from Amarillo. Our guide to Panhandle sports on TV covers where Texas Tech, West Texas A&M and the NFL air.
Internet across the Panhandle
Amarillo's cable company is Optimum, the name Suddenlink took on August 1, 2022. Cox sold its Amarillo and Canyon systems to Cebridge, which became Suddenlink, in 2006.
Outside town, connections vary a lot. Fiber, fixed wireless and satellite each serve parts of the Panhandle, so check your address on the FCC National Broadband Map. Plan on 15 Mbps per HD screen and 25 for 4K; a steady 50 Mbps line handles two or three TVs.

Reasons to stay with an antenna
- You live in Amarillo and only want the locals. The towers are 5 to 11 miles away, so a $25 to $60 antenna with VHF does the job for free after that.
- Your internet is slow or capped. Live TV uses a lot of data.
- Spring storms knock out power and internet. A battery TV and an antenna keep KFDA and KVII weather coverage on.
- You want Panhandle PBS's local shows. Those air on KACV channel 2.

The short version
- IPTVZ lists KAMR, KVII, KFDA and KCIT, plus Lubbock's network stations.
- It helps most in towns 45 or more miles from Amarillo's towers.
- It adds Univision and cable channels an antenna can't get.
- A year costs $74.99 for one device or $149.99 for three.
- In town, an antenna still covers the locals for free.
For an Amarillo home, IPTV is an add-on to the antenna, not a replacement. Out on the Panhandle, it can be the main way to watch. The free trial tells you which. Planning around football? Our guide to Texas sports on TV shows where the Cowboys, Texas Tech and the other Texas teams play.
